How do we secure our wedding date?
Your date is secured with a signed agreement and a booking retainer. Once those are in place, the date is locked in exclusively for you.
What's included in your wedding coverage?
Coverage is tailored to your day and can include prep, ceremony, speeches, and key reception moments, along with a cinematic highlight film. I'll outline deliverables clearly before booking.
How long will our highlight film be?
Base package highlight films run between 5-10 minutes, depending on the flow of the day and what matters most to you. The goal is a story-driven film you'll actually rewatch.
Do you capture full ceremony and speeches?
Yes, full ceremony and speeches edits are available as separate deliverables. These are professionally mic'd and edited for clean audio and complete coverage.
How do you handle audio?
I use discreet lav mics and direct feeds where possible to ensure vows and speeches are captured clearly. Clean audio is a priority, especially for key moments.
Do you work with our photographer?
Absolutely. I coordinate closely with your photographer to ensure we're not in each other's way and that both photo and video coverage runs smoothly.
How long is turnaround?
Delivery timelines are confirmed before the wedding. Typically, you can expect your highlight film within 6-8 weeks, with longer edits or add ons delivered on a clearly outlined schedule.
Can we choose the music?
You're welcome to share preferences or artists you love, however copyrighted material can't be included. Final tracks are selected from licensed music libraries to ensure your film is legal to share online.
Do you travel for weddings?
Yes, I film across Auckland and NZ-wide. Travel costs (if required) are quoted transparently before booking so there are no surprises.
How do payments work?
A 50% retainer secures booking your date, with the remaining balance due 1 week prior to the wedding date.
What if we're awkward on camera?
Most couples worry about this! My approach is relaxed and unobtrusive, focusing on natural moments so you can stay present in the day.
Can we add extra coverage or raw footage?
Yes. Additional hours, extra edits, or a raw footage package can be added either at booking or after the wedding (subject to availability).
